Welcome to our church's website. Our prayer is that you will be blessed and encouraged as we share with you what GOD is doing among us. House of refuge was founded in may of 1996 by Edd and Mae Brock and Thomas and Mary Jordan .What started out as a prayer meeting in a two car garage on the south east side of Indianapolis, grew into a church.  House of Refuge moved to a store front on the south side of Indianapolis and it was there they appointed thier first  pastor ;  Tommy Jordan was appointed in 1997 as pastor.  They out grew the storefront facility and the church moved to a new place on the south side of Indianapolis on Keystone Avenue which is where the church is currently  located . We are a growing church that has a VISION for souls ! We invite you to come join  us and discover the joys of loving and serving Christ through obedience to HIS word . Become the leader and disciple-maker GOD intended you be as we unite and build the kingdom of heaven until JESUS' return.
